MATCH REPORT – St TEATH vs MOUSEHOLE WOMEN

ST TEATH LADIES 0-4 MOUSEHOLE WOMEN

CORNWALL WOMENS’ LEAGUE sponsored by Pirate FM

SUNDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2017

DEPLETED MOUSEHOLE WIN TO CLAIM EQUAL TOP SPOT

On a very soggy pitch, the match got the go-ahead by referee Gary Cornish shortly before kick-off but only on the understanding that further rain would be likely to cause an abandonment.

However, the rain held off and Mousehole got stuck in to record their ninth consecutive win in all competitions to maintain their superb 100% start to the season.

In so doing they joined St Agnes on equal points at the top of the table with a game in hand, last season’s champions having had their game postponed.

And Mousehole’s win with only 12 players on the team sheet was achieved without four regular starters, but at the same time demonstrated the strength in depth of the squad which included two recent signings.

After an evenly contested opening period, Mousehole got into their stride and could have been a couple of goals up before they finally scored.  A corner from the right taken by Sophie Wilson was only partly cleared as far as Claire Hitchens Todd who unleashed a shot into the top corner.  The visitors were soon 2-0 up when Megan Davison pounced after St Teath failed to clear their lines.

Lyndsey Mayers, without much to do in the Mousehole goal, picked up an ankle injury when the ground gave way as she tried to clear a backpass, but she was soon able to resume.  The Seagulls went back on the attack, with several attempts on goal just missing the target or bringing some great saves from the home ‘keeper.

In the second half, Mousehole continued to press in search of further goals and the third came midway through the half.  The ball was whipped across the goal from the left, and Lena Mannon came in from the right to slot into the net.  Sophie Wilson finally got on to the score sheet with a wicked strike from the right for a final scoreline of 4-0 and her 14th goal of the season.

Scarlett Couter came close on a couple of occasions, one a sneaky back heal and the other a header from a corner.  The hosts had their keeper to thank for keeping the score down with a couple of double saves, but they did threaten the Mousehole goal late on with a strike that hit the cross bar.

Team:  Lyndsey Mayers (captain), Lena Mannon, Emma Hurworth, Lucy Brown, Flo Davies Kirsop, Carla Hanmer, Claire Hitchens Todd , Sophie Wilson , Scarlett Clouter, Stacey George, Megan Davison.  Substitute:  Kieren Watkinson

Scorers:  Claire Hitchens Todd, Megan Davison, Lena Mannon, Sophie Wilson.

Mousehole Women are away at 5th-place Charlestown Ladies Reserves next Sunday (10th December), kick off 2:30pm.

MOUSEHOLE 5-1 RNAS CULDROSE

SATURDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2017, AT TRUNGLE PARC

MOUSEHOLE V RNAS CULDROSE PROGRAMME CORNWALL SENIOR CUP

Mousehole’s 5-1 victory over lower-ranked RNAS Culdrose, who are without a win and second bottom of the Cornwall Combination League some 28 places below The Seagulls in the non-league structure, saw them safely through to the Third Round of the Cornwall senior Cup.  The result also maintained this season’s 100% home record, which now numbers three league and three cup wins.

Manager Kevin Richards again put his faith in youth, with five local youngsters aged 20 or under on the team sheet, and deployed midfielder Jason Adlard and 16-year old Josh Storey in the two centre-back positions in the absence of captain Billy Curtis and Max Hill.

16-year old Josh Storey gave an assured performance at centre back

The Seagulls had already come close with a Calum Elliot header and a Luke Johnson shot before they took the lead on 17 minutes when Bradley Wills rose highest in a crowded six-yard box to head in Calum Elliot’s lofted free kick from near the left-hand touchline.

The Airmen hit back with a dangerous cross across goal from the right, but Mousehole continued to threaten at the other end with Calum Elliot shooting just past the post from 25 yards and Luke Johnson’s cross-cum-shot hitting goalkeeper Kieron O’Hanlon and the crossbar.

So it was no surprise on 32 minutes when the lead was doubled after some slick passing in the centre circle and a deft through ball by Kevin Lawrence put Luke Johnson in the clear to round the ‘keeper and slot home.

Kevin Lawrence then nearly got himself on the scoresheet with a near-post side-foot from Luke Johnson’s cross, but Culdrose pulled themselves back into the game in the 38th minute with a well-worked goal, Ashley Spinks gliding in beyond the far post to drive in a searching low cross from the left.

Luke Johnson – a fine attacking performance and two good goals

O’Hanlon then denied Bradley Wills with a close-range block and the visitors will have gone in at the interval please to be only 2-1 in arrears after being on the back foot for most of the half.

But a dominant second-half performance by Mousehole put paid to any chance of a visitors’ come-back.  On 56 minutes it was 3-1 when O’Hanlon bravely smothered Jake Andrew’s run and Luke Johnson chipped the loose ball over the covering defenders into the net from 20 yards for his second of the afternoon.  Jake Andrew scored a similar goal on 65 with a lob over the stranded ‘keeper for 4-1 after a well-worked move.

Midfielder Jordan Adlard was deployed successfully in central defence

In the final 20 minutes, last-ditch defending, goalmouth scrambles and missed chances restricted The Seagulls to one more score in the 80th minute.  Kevin Lawrence claimed the goal from a few inches out as he touched over the line a low shot by Calum Elliot destined for the far corner.

Mousehole’s reward is a place in the Third Round of the Senior Cup which is due to be played on Saturday 6th January, the date currently set for the home League match against Millbrook.

Mousehole:  Steve Parker-Billinge, Tyler Tonkin, Jordan Adlard, Josh Storey, Caleb Marsden (Connor Davey, 71), Kevin Lawrence, Bradley Wills, Calum Elliot, Danny Park (Josh Otto, 71), Luke Johnson, Jake Andrew (Josh Nicholls, 79).

Scorers:  Mousehole – Bradley Wills (17), Luke Johnson (32, 56), Jake Andrew (65), Kevin Lawrence (80).  RNAS Culdrose – Ashley Spinks (38).

Referee:  Mark Hosking

  • This Saturday (9th), Mousehole face a stern test when League leaders Liskeard Athletic visit Trungle Parc for a West Division fixture (kick off 2:15pm).

MATCH REPORT – MOUSEHOLE WOMEN vs PORTHLEVEN LADIES

MOUSEHOLE WOMEN 8-3 PORTHLEVEN LADIES

CORNWALL WOMEN’S LEAGUE, sponsored by Pirate FM

SUNDAY 26TH NOVEMBER 2017, AT MARAZION

SEAGULLS SWOOP FOR SEVENTH WIN OUT OF SEVEN

Mousehole Women maintained their 100% record with their seventh league win out of seven to add to their County Cup victory last week.

They remain in second place in the Cornwall Women’s League, three points behind last season’s unbeaten champions St Agnes with two games in hand, and five points ahead of third-place Helston who have also played two games more than The Seagulls.

Mousehole started on the front foot and almost scored with the first move of the game.  However, Porthleven had strengthened their side since the 13-0 defeat to Mousehole in the corresponding fixture at Gala Parc in September, and took the lead when a missed clearance in defence allowed their striker to run through and slot the ball home for an unexpected lead.

Chances came and went before Mousehole drew level, Katy Barker using her unstoppable speed to race on to a defence-splitting pass and fire into the net.

It was soon 2-1 to the hosts when once again Katy again terrorised the Porthleven right back and her cross was turned in for an own goal by a defender.

Sophie Wilson then got her customary goal to send Mousehole in at half time 3-1 to the good.

Mousehole could have been many more goals up but it was the way the team played that was the more pleasing feature.

Carly Jacka got her first goal of the game after a corner from the left which found her on the line to touch home for 4-1.

Jo Barker finally got the goal she deserved, running through on to the ball and rounding the ‘keeper before stroking the ball home.

Sophie Wilson and Carla Jacka each added their second goals to make the scoreline 7-1, Jacka’s coming direct from a free kick.

Megan Davison completed the scoring for Mousehole, but Porthleven never gave up, scoring two goals of their own, but too late to make an astonishing come back.

Mousehole Women:  Lyndsey Mayers (captain), Rosie Davison, Lucy Brown, Emma Hurworth, Tamara de Silva, Katy Barker, Sophie Wilson, Carly Jacka, Scarlett Clouter, Megan Davison, Jo Barker.

Substitutes:  Megan Edwards (for Rosie Davison, 40), Becky Edwards (for Scarlett Clouter 70), Stacey George (for Katy Barker 80).

Mousehole scorers:  Sophie Wilson (2), Carly Jacka (2), Katy Barker, Jo Barker, Megan Davison.

Mousehole now have three consecutive away League games before the Christmas break.  Next Sunday (3rd December) they travel to St Teath, followed by a trip to Charlestown on 10th, and then the ‘game of the season’ on 17th at St Agnes.  All League fixtures kick off at 2:30pm.

MATCH REPORT – RUAN MINOR vs MOUSEHOLE RES (Junior Cup R3)

RUAN MINOR 1-8 MOUSEHOLE RESERVES

CORNWALL JUNIOR CUP, sponsored by Bond Timber

THIRD ROUND TIE

SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER 2017, AT GRADE RUAN RECREATION GROUND

RESERVES ROMP THROUGH TO LAST 16 OF JUNIOR CUP

Mousehole Reserves progressed to the last 16 of the Cornwall Junior Cup*, making sure there was no cup upset when they visited Ruan Minor, who are currently two divisions below The Seagulls in Trelawny  Division 3.

Currently in mid-table with 12 points from 8 games, the hosts have a very good set up and were well supported for an entertaining 90 minutes by a large number of local spectators.

Mousehole went one up after 14 minutes following some good football, with Michael Fitchett and Tom Hooper combining and Jamie Simons providing the perfect ball to Lee Robinson to fire home.

Continued attacks by Mousehole followed, resulting in a number of corners in quick succession. From one of these, Nathan Goodspeed’s corner was punched by the home ‘keeper, but both the spinning ball and keeper ended up over the goal line for 2-0.

A good run from Michael Fitchett playing on the wing saw his shot saved and the ball fell to Joe Davies who slotted just wide of the post.

Ruan were stubborn in their defence, but from a free kick Joe Davies provided a good ball in to find Jamie Simons who then made it goal number 3.

Paul Williams in goal, deputising for Adam Robathan who broke a couple of fingers in last Saturday’s victory at Hayle, had a very quiet first half, thanks to a solid all-round team performance as in previous weeks.

The hosts put up some solid defence and a mixture of good goalkeeping, missed chances and bad luck kept the score down to 3-0 at the interval.

Within five minutes of the re-start, Tom Patrick got goal number 4.  Attacking from the wing, his initial shot hit the post, but he seized on the rebound to slot the ball home into the corner of the net.

A free kick on the edge of the Ruan box saw Joe Davies drive the ball home to make it 5.

Ruan came back with several attempts on goal but good defending and safe goalkeeping kept them at bay.

Mousehole’s midfield ‘engine room’ controlled play for the majority of the game, and valuable assistance came from the rolling substitutions which enabled all the squad members to play their part in the fixture.

Chris Bullock then scored a quick-fire hat trick to bring the scoreline to 8-0, following good play, awareness and a strong will.

Full credit is due to Ruan who kept battling away, and after a goalmouth scramble they managed to score a richly deserved goal.

Mousehole Reserves squad:  Paul Williams, Joe Davies (captain), Lee Robinson, Tom McGarry, Harry Tonkin, Jason Simmonds, Nathan Goodspeed, Michael Fitchett, Tom Patrick , Chris Bullock, Tom George,  Louis Main, Jamie Simons, Tom Hooper.

Mousehole scorers:  Lee Robinson, Jamie Simons, Tom Patrick, Joe Davies, Chris Bullock (3), Own Goal.

Next Saturday, Mousehole Reserves, leaders of the Trelawny League Division 1 table, are back in League action with an away fixture versus mid-table Threemilestone at Boscawen Park, Truro, kick off 2:30pm.

*The 4th Round draw (last 16) for the Junior Cup will take place at 09:30 on Tuesday 28th November

MATCH REPORT – MOUSEHOLE vs PLYMOUTH MARJON

MOUSEHOLE 4-2 PLYMOUTH MARJON

SOUTH WEST PENINSILA LEAGUE, DIVISION 1 WEST

SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER 2017, AT TRUNGLE PARC

Mousehole’s win on Saturday maintained this season’s 100% home record – three League and two Cup victories – since returning to Trungle Parc in October.

With The Seagulls almost back to full strength after the previous week’s defeat at Elburton Villa with a severely depleted squad, these hard-fought three points saw them climb five places to 9th, a good base for facing their next nine league games all of which are at home.

Plenty of goals and incidents helped keep the spectators warm on a cold afternoon, and good chances were missed at both ends before Mousehole took the lead on 22 minutes with a fine goal from Tyler Tonkin who came up from right-back to exchange passes with Calum Elliot and crash a 10-yard drive in from an angle.

To their credit Marjons hit back immediately and after going close with a header just wide from a corner, they equalised in the 24th minute through midfielder Adam Smietanka’s lofted drive from 25 yards into the roof of the net.

Mousehole created the better chances in the remainder of the half, Calum Elliot having a shot deflected on 30 minutes after a period of sustained possession, and Tyler Tonkin almost adding his second with a lob over the bar just before the interval.

The Seagulls dominated the early stages of the second half, combative midfielder Jordan Adlard putting a fierce header marginally off-target from Luke Johnson’s driven corner, Liam Andrew flicking Calum Elliot’s cross against the crossbar, and the same player forcing a flying save from the ‘keeper with a close-range header.

But the inevitable goal came in the 56th minute when Jordan Adlard was first to a loose ball amid a scramble on the edge of the 6-yard box and his brave header was cleared from behind the line, with the well-placed assistant referee flagging for the goal.

Amazingly, the visitors equalised once more within three minutes, when referee Mark Hosking deemed that a grounded player had been tripped inside the area, and the converted penalty made it 2-2.

An exciting eight minutes ended with Mousehole regaining the lead on 64 minutes.  The attack-minded Liam Andrew scored a richly-deserved first goal of the season, darting in front of the ‘keeper to nod into the net from Tyler Tonkin’s searching cross, an indication of the fluidity of The Seagulls’ play with both full backs getting on the scoresheet for the first time in recent memory.

Marjons were still in the hunt and wasted possible chances for a third equaliser in the 75th and 78th minutes, before substitute Bradley Wills made the lead more comfortable in the 84th minute, driving home from 10 yards following a great break forward by Josh Otto and a blocked shot by Connor Davey.

With a 4-2 lead, Mousehole finished the game strongly, with Calum Elliot having a shot blocked by the keeper’s legs after Bradley Wills’ clever pass, and Connor Davey shooting wide after a shrewd Josh Otto pass put him in the clear.

Mousehole: Steve Parker-Billinge, Tyler Tonkin, Billy Curtis (captain), Max Hill, Liam Andrew, Kevin Lawrence, Jordan Adlard, Josh Otto, Connor Davey, Luke Johnson, Calum Elliot.

Substitutes:  Bradley Wills (for Kevin Lawrence, 70), Danny Park, Caleb Marsden, Yeshe Briar, Jake Andrew

Mousehole scorers:  Tyler Tonkin (22), Jordan Adlard (56), Liam Andrew (64), Bradley Wills (84)

Referee: Mark Hosking.     Attendance: 56

Mousehole will be looking to maintain their 100% home record this Saturday (2nd December) when RNAS Culdrose – with only two points gained so far from 13 games in this season’s Cornwall Combination League – visit Trungle Parc for a Cornwall Senior Cup second round tie (2pm).

JOROME SLEW MOVES FROM MOUSEHOLE TO NATIONAL CONFERENCE SIDE CHESTER

In a major piece of positive news for Mousehole AFC, striker Jorome Slew has moved six steps up the non-league pyramid to sign for full-time professional club Chester.

The 19-year old joined Mousehole’s newly-established Academy in July after being released by Championship club Sheffield United.  He had played and scored regularly for The Blades’ Reserves before his promising progress was dealt a set-back by a broken leg.

Jorome Slew - Mousehole vs Leeds

Mousehole’s Academy Director Jason Blunt, who was appointed in June, brought Jorome in soon afterwards as part of the club’s strategy of offering full-time training and regular first-team football for young players released by their professional clubs.

Jorome made an instant impact with The Seagulls in pre-season and scored superb hat-tricks in each of the first two away League games of the new season as well as two more crucial goals in the League Cup win at previously unbeaten Ludgvan.  He quickly became a club favourite not only for his dynamic play, but also his willing contribution to youth training.

Following recommendations from Jason Blunt, Jorome came to the attention of several clubs back in his native Yorkshire.  He had extended trials with Championship club Barnsley before signing for semi-professional Northern Premier League side Goole AFC, for whom he scored within minutes of his debut two weeks ago.

This week, Chester moved to bring Slew to the Deva Stadium with the club currently lying in the lower reaches of the National Conference – effectively the ‘fifth Division’.  If selected, Jorome will make his debut in front of the BT Sport cameras in the live coverage of the Chester versus Dagenham & Redbridge fixture this Saturday (25th) at 12:30pm.

Jason Blunt was upbeat about the news:  “I always knew Jorome had the potential, but having a broken leg and being released by Sheffield United severely dented his confidence.  I’m absolutely delighted that we at Mousehole have played a big part in getting him back on track.  His ambition is to be a full-time professional footballer, so going to a club like Chester could be the start of a journey back to the level he wants to – and should – be at.  We’re now developing a relationship with Chester FC to create some initiatives that will be beneficial to Mousehole.  In the meantime, we intend to carry on our policy of attracting more of the young Joromes down to Mousehole, as they can make a big contribution to the club, as well as playing men’s football, putting themselves back in the shop window, and looking after their own development away from football.  A good example of this is Max Hill, who was released by Leeds United Academy and has come down to Mousehole, established himself as first-choice centre back, won himself an apprenticeship with a local company, and is studying for professional qualifications at the same time.”

Mousehole Chairman Tim Richardson added:  “We wish Jorome all the best and will be keeping an eye on his progress from afar.  His scorching start to the season will be long-remembered, but apart from anything else he showed the technical qualities that other players can aspire to, and helped the club in the first stage of its own ambition to raise the standard of football in this part of the world.”

MATCH PREVIEW – MOUSEHOLE v PLYMOUTH MARJON

PREVIEW:  MOUSEHOLE v PLYMOUTH MARJON

SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER, KICK OFF 2:15pm

SOUTH WEST PENINSULA LEGUE, DIVISION 1 WEST

AT TRUNGLE PARC

This Saturday Mousehole play their 14th League fixture of the season – but only their third at home – sitting 13th in the table against 8th-place Marjons.

In a congested mid-table, only 6 points separate 11 teams, from 4th place St Blazey to 14th place Dobwalls.  So tight is the competition that if The Seagulls had won at Elburton Villa last Saturday they would now be just one place and three points outside the top six.

So, manager Kevin Richards and football director Jason Blunt will be expecting to pick up the three points on Saturday to mark the start of a climb up the table as they embark upon an unbroken run of 10 home games lasting until mid-February with 30 points up for grabs.

By a quirk of the fixture list, Plymouth Marjon have played 11 of their 14 League fixtures at home, on their 3G pitch at Derriford.  On September 2nd they defeated Mousehole 2-0 with two goals in two minutes just before half time, one of which was a penalty unluckily conceded by Josh Storey who was also red-carded.

Saturday’s is only the fourth away trip for Marjons – after one win (at Porthleven), one draw and one defeat on the road – and it will be their longest journey of the season.  Last Saturday they drew 0-0 at second-bottom team Illogan.

Mousehole will also be looking to continue their 100% home record since resuming fixtures at ‘the new Trungle Parc’ in October.  With two League wins – against Dobwalls  (4-1) and Illogan (2-0), and two Cup wins – 1-0 against Premier Division Camelford in the League Cup, and 2-1 against West Division leaders Ludgvan in the Cornwall Charity Cup – give grounds for optimism for the coming months.

MATCH REPORT – ELBURTON VILLA vs MOUSEHOLE

ELBURTON VILLA 3-1 MOUSEHOLE

SOUTH WEST PENINSULA LEAGUE, DIVISION 1 WEST

SATURDAY 18TH NOVEMBER 2017, AT HAYE ROAD

Mousehole’s fourth and last League journey of the season across the Tamar proved to be a highly frustrating day all round, as they were without half a dozen squad members and suffered a coach breakdown a few miles from the ground which caused a late arrival, a delayed kick-off, little warm-up time and a late-evening return back home.

On top of that, they were on the wrong end of a couple of controversial refereeing decisions before going down to their sixth defeat of the season, having picked up just one point from 12 in their matches in Devon – a 3-3 draw at Plymstock, preceded by defeats at Plymouth Marjon (2-0) and Holsworthy (4-0).

A win would have propelled The Seagulls above their hosts and several places up the table, and the signs looked good in a promising first half in which Luke Johnson twice and Danny Park brought the best out of goalkeeper Jack Dixon early on, and Connor Davey drove against the crossbar after an opening created by Kevin Lawrence.  But a big moment came after half an hour when Danny Park’s sharp left-wing cross was turned away with both hands by a covering defender inside the box, only for referee Andrew Glanville to wave play on.  After the interval, Connor Davey again came close from Calum Elliot’s cross and Max Hill turned a low corner just wide at the near post.

A game-changing moment came after 55 minutes when the home side benefitted from a highly contentious penalty decision to go ahead against the run of play.  Goalkeeper Steve Parker-Billinge had got down to a through ball with both hands just ahead of the speedy Robbie Dale, with the Villa man’s momentum causing him to collide with the keeper, forcing the ball out for a corner.  But referee Glanville chose to award a penalty from 30 yards away and despite several minutes of protest during which he refused to consult with his better-placed linesman, the decision stood and Simon McClements took advantage of his side’s good fortune to thump home the spot kick.

Elburton dominated the next 10 minutes, Steve Parker-Billinge tipping over a goalbound shot, before Jed Smale’s low shot inside the post from 20 yards in the 65th minute, after Mousehole had been dispossessed in midfield, doubled their lead.

And 2-0 became 3-0 when top scorer Nick Aplin was first to the loose ball from close range after a shot from the right had been deflected across goal.

To their credit, Mousehole battled on after conceding three goals in 20 minutes, and Calum Elliot scored his first goal for the club, a free-kick from 20 yards to the right of centre that arrowed into the far top corner on 90 – the best goal of the match, but scant reward for the team’s performance against the odds.

Scorers:  Mousehole – Calum Elliot (90).   Elburton Villa – Simon McClements (55, pen), Jed Smale (65), Nick Aplin (75).

Referee:  Andrew Glanville.   Attendance:  56.

Mousehole have no more away League games until 24th February as they catch up on the sequence of fixtures played away from Trungle Parc during a period of refurbishment.  This Saturday (25th) it’s Plymouth Marjon’s turn to make the long journey when they travel for a League match with a 2.15 kick off.  The following Saturday (2nd December) RNAS Culdrose are the visitors, with the Combination League’s bottom-but-one side looking to create a major upset in the Cornwall Senior Cup 2nd Round (2pm).

HAYLE RESERVES v MOUSEHOLE RESERVES MATCH REPORT

HAYLE RESERVES 0-3 MOUSEHOLE RESERVES

PERCY STEPHENS CUP, 2ND ROUND

SATURDAY 18TH NOVEMBER, AT TREVASSACK PARK

Mousehole found themselves up against the same opponents as in their 2-0 League win at Marazion the previous Saturday, but by contrast it was a fine autumnal afternoon on the north coast in almost perfect playing conditions.

Mousehole quickly settled down into attacking play and within 7 minutes deservedly went ahead after a corner.  Tom McGarry’s shot hit the Hayle keeper in the chest, with Lee Robinson picking up the rebound out on the wing and driving into the roof of the net from 25 yards.

More attacking football from Mousehole resulted in another goal after some good work by Nathan Goodspeed and Michael Fitchett left Jamie Simons with a tap in.

For the remainder of the first half, it was up and down traffic both ways, mostly through the centre of the field, with little use of the flanks.

The hosts started the second half very strongly and introduced several substitutes who were persistent in their forward play, but without end result.

Then Mousehole increased the score when a ball from midfield found Jamie Simons on the wing and his fine solo run paid off with his second goal and Mousehole’s third.

Hayle continued to attack but were thwarted by a superb flying save by Mousehole’s ‘keeper Adam Robathan.  At the other end, a good run by striker Michael Fitchett saw his shot just miss the upright by a matter of inches.

Another solid team performance by the Reserves, with great encouragement from Harry Tonkin and Tom Hooper, and all the squad having quality time on the pitch.

The squad:  Adam Robathan, Joe Davies (captain), Lee Robinson, Tom McGarry, Harry Tonkin, Jason Simmonds, Nathan Godspeed, Michael Fitchett, Tom Patrick, Louis Main, Jamie Simons, Tom Hooper, Matthew Howes, Liam Collinson

In the 3rd round of the Percy Stephens Cup, Mousehole Reserves will be at home against the winners of the tie between Redruth United Reserves and Helston 3rds, which was postponed last week

Next Saturday (25th) the Reserves are away at Ruan Minor in the Bond Timber Cornwall Junior Cup 3rd Round (kick off 2pm).
