Mousehole’s seven-goal haul and second clean-sheet win in four days keeps them in first place in the early League table, level on points with Willand Rovers and fellow promoted team Bemerton Heath Harlequins Next for The Seagulls is a ‘local derby’ Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round tie this Saturday (19th, 3pm), at St Blazey, newly promoted to the Western League Premier Division. In the Extra Preliminary Round, St Blazey won 3-1 at Step 6 Wendron United, while Mousehole won 4-1 at Home against Step 5 llfracombe Town. This being Mousehole’s third season in the FA Cup, they will be aiming to progress to the First Qualifying Round for the first time, having had an early exit at the hands of Plymouth Parkway (H) and Torpoint Athletic (A) in successive years.
